Our Mission:
The Central Alberta Regional Innovation Network (CARIN) helps entrepreneurs develop fresh new businesses and concepts in the oil pivot, industrial, agriculture, and technology sectors with their 8-week Catalyst Incubator program.
The Catalyst Incubator program includes presenters consisting of some of Alberta's most celebrated leading experts and innovative minds. By offering their knowledge to Central Alberta's start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses, their mentorship helps rebuild and sustain economic diversity in the province.
CARIN creates a new focus with each Catalyst Incubator and invites presenters to participate in their area of expertise.
CARIN Introduces Craig Elias:
One such presenter is Craig Elias.
Considered Canada's #1 B2B Sales Expert (#15 globally) on LinkedIn in 2018 and 2019, Craig is an award-winning entrepreneur, educator, sales expert, author, and passionate start-up advisor. Craig is also a pitch coach who recently helped one start-up win two $100,000 pitch competitions in less than 24 hours.
With his 15-year top-performing sales track record, Craig analyzed his successful process to create Trigger Event Selling. His first start-up company went from initial launch to winning the $1,000,000 prize in a global pitch idea competition to being funded by a Tier 1 US-based Venture Capitalist and twice being named one of the 50 most promising companies in North America by Dow Jones in under 24 months.
A Little About Craig:
Craig has been Bow Valley College's Entrepreneur in Residence in Calgary for the past seven years, and he co-developed and runs VentureQuest, Bow Valley's business idea competition.

Craig also created Calgary's Innovation Rodeo, 150 Startups, and Startup Saturday and continues to run them today. In his spare time, Craig provides free pitch coaching for regional business incubators, accelerators, and pitch competitions and assists with crowdfunding campaigns.
